Our General Assembly

Come to our General Assembly!

The General Assembly is the Student Union’s highest authority, where we lay down our policies and organization strategies. We also plan the economical framework. The General Assembly’s purpose is to decide the overall lines of the Student Union, as well as electing candidates to the Student Unions leading institutions. We’ll decide:

  • Which political battles are most important to fight for in 2026?

  • Who should be the President of the Student Union, representing 40.000 KU-students?

  • Who should sit in the Student Union Board in 2025? (Please contact us if you’re curious about applying!)

When is the general assembly?

The General Assembly takes place every year in October. In 2025 it will be held on the 4th of October.

Who can participate in the General Assembly?

Every KU-student is invited and has voting rights! You have two kinds of votes: The personal votes and Student Council votes. You can read more about the General Assembly at the Facebook-event, which comes soon.
