What are the Uni Elections?

University of Copenhagen is a student democracy. This means that the students have influence on the decisions that affect our university, education and study environment. Below you can learn more about the three different democratic decision-making bodies at UCPH.

Every autumn in the last week of November we have Uni Elections at the University of Copenhagen, where the Student Union seeks influence in the democratic bodies of the University of Copenhagen by electing it’s students to the different democratic bodies. Students are elected to Study Boards at subject and department level, Academic Councils at faculty level and two students to the University Board, which is the top management at the university.
