Financial Support
As students, we are used to getting by with little money. However, developing a good study environment is not free. The Student Union supports initiatives and events financially that strengthen the academic environment, promote student-led change or sustain students' well-being. In 2023 we handed out more than a quarter of a million DKK to student activities at the University of Copenhagen!
The Student Union have two different categories of financial support – activity support and basic subsidy. If you have any questions about the two categories, please contact us on srku@srku.dk.

Basic Subsidy
Only the Student Union's own local councils in the faculties and departments (subject and faculty councils) can apply for basic subsidy. The subsidy is given once every year and the size depends on how many students your local council represents. You can read more about the activity support and apply here.
Activity Support
All students at the University of Copenhagen can apply for activity support. If you have an idea for a cool activity for students but you need money to go through with it, our support is for you. There are a few criteria for the activities, we support. You can read more about the activity support and apply here.
