Welcome to our new fellow student!

Every year the Student Union welcomes thousands of new students to the University of Copenhagen. It is one of the Student Union’s most significant assignments to help students start their new life at the University.

Every year we host the a great ‘Freshman’ event. Tutors and new students meet across all faculties and studies for a fun and cozy day and evening. You can learn more about the 2024 event here

The Student Union also creates a Student Handbook to help new students transform their nervousness about starting their studies into excitement. It will be sent by mail to all new students in the beginning of August.
