How to apply for Activity Support
Read this before you apply!
In the Student Union, we support initiatives and arrangements which strenghten the work environment, create political change, or make space for growing a community. Regardless if your dreams are a scientist lunch, a board game cafe, coffee giveaway at cambus or materials for a demonstration, you can seach for money here in the Activity Support! We give money both to groups and individuals, as long as they’re students - and for students!
Practical information and requirements
Before you apply, be aware of the following points:
You have to document the money spent through reciepts (remember to take a picture of them)
You can at most apply for 100 kr. per gift for a guest
You can at most apply for 50 kr. per person for food, drinks and the like
You can at most apply for 3.000 kr. in addition to the 50 kr. pr. person for food etc.
Most often we support activities with between 500-3000kr and only exceptionally with over 5000kr.
We reserve the right to provide support with a smaller amount than requested, as we receive many applications
We process applications twice a month, and you can thus expect an answer to your application within three weeks. It is possible to apply for support up until the day before the activity, but we reserve the right to deny support for applications, that we have not had time to process before the day of the activity - we encourage to to apply in good time.
Please note that applications for support for the unielection campaign are processed under different guidelines than those outlined above
You also give consent to the following points:
You have to send a minimum 2 pictures of the arrangement to srku@srku.dk within the following two weeks of the happening
If you create an event on Facebook or a post on Instagram, it needs to show that you’ve gotten support from the Student Union
All physical and digital material funded though here has to feature the Student Union’s logo and name
We collect your personal information regarding your application
We do not support:
Payments for events arranged by external partners
Company-driven events such as a carrier-day
Study trips, neither for learning or fun
Partiers and friday bars
Political events with party affiliations
Tutors
Alcohol
Revys
Print of magazines and yearly subscripstions
How do we assess the applications?
We receive many applications for our activity support, and therefore we do not have the opportunity to provide financial support to all applicants. Our priority is to support many different associations and groups of students across the faculties. Therefore, it is not certain that you will be granted support even if you have complied with all the requirements listed above. However, we strive to meet as many applications as possible.

The fund’s origin
In the Student Union we set aside 200.000 kr. per year for this support, as we wish to support student activities that can improve their local environment. The money comes from our yearly election support, so remember to vote at the years’s student election in the end of November.
Application- and answer-deadline
We look into applications twice a month, and we strive to return with an answer as soon as possible.
